This weekend our family went camping and boating to Roosevelt lake with the Riggs family. Before leaving our camp site and launching the boats, Kent had one of those conversations with Karsten that remind you of how thin the veil is and that children are truly precious and close to the Lord.
The conversation went something like this. Kent said, "Karsten, you're my favorite little buddy". Karsten repied, "Yea, an' I supposed to be in your family, an' I kin'a nice too".
Moments like this are extra special to parents who are trying to raise children among the chaos and busyness of life (especially destroying angels like Karsten)!
